Food & Beverage Attendant - Lanson Place Parliament Gardens

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our amazing F&B team on a permanent part-time basis.

As a member of our F&B staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and delivering an exceptional guest experience. You'll be part of an energetic, dynamic team dedicated to the success of Lanson Place Melbourne. Your contributions will be vital to the success of our new hotel, and you’ll work collaboratively with the entire team to bring our brand vision to life.

Main responsibilities :

Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in greeting and seating guests

Stay informed about menu items, daily specials, and ingredients details to adeptly respond to guest inquiries and provide informed recommendations, thereby enhancing the overall dining experience to answer guest questions and make recommendations.

Serving food and beverages promptly and efficiently.

Attend all training required to perform the role (RSA, induction, food handling, food safety, ...)

Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.

Confidently communicate and collaborate with the kitchen staff, bartenders and other F&B team members to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

Handling customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism.

Proactively anticipate guests' needs, providing positive assistance for special occasions and accommodating dietary requirements with attentiveness and professionalism.

Process guest’s payments accurately and efficiently in both cash and credit card payments.

Adhere to health and safety regulations, company policies, and maintain hotel standards.

Key Requirements:

High level of customer service and adaptability

Previous experience in the hotel industry is advantageous

Great communication skills

Attention to detail

Energy, drive, and tenacity to succeed

Passion for hospitality

Hold current Victorian RSA certificate
