This market leading, global Wholesaler/FMCG business provide a number products to key Major retailers and Distribution networks within Australia. This multi-entity company has experienced strong growth with its well-established brands being recognised industry wide for their premium quality and are a household name in their wide range of categories and distribution networks.
The Role
This a rare opportunity to work for a global, blue-chip company whose brands are a household name. You will become part of a large AR team. Based at their Scoresby office, the position offers hybrid (4 days in office-1 day at home) and flexible start/finish times.
The role is predominantly processing and resolving Credit/Product Claims, documenting claims and investigating stock discrepancies, addressing invoicing anomalies, warranties and credit notes. This integral role will have you collaborating with the wider finance team, sales and customer service teams. Thus, having the ability to be communicate effectively and problem solve will be a major component of the role.
The ideal candidate will ideally have some experience in AR with exposure to processing claims, however Accounts/Finance Officers with 1-3 years’ experience are also encouraged to apply, as full training/mentoring is provided.
Your primary duties will comprise of:
- Credit claims processing
- Investigating stock discrepancies
- Authorising Claims and Claims processing
- Addressing invoicing anomalies
- Authorising and processing Redemptions/Credits/Coupons
- Maintaining vendor data on ERP system
- Invoice processing
- Relaying claims information to customer service teams
- Ad hoc tasks where required
About You
You will have a great learning attitude and a flexible approach to work.
The successful candidate will obtain the following:
- Min 1-3 years’ experience in a similar AR/Accounts-Finance Officer position
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously
