Our client is a leading multinational organisation based in Melbourne CBD, known for its leadin service offerings and dynamic workplace culture. They are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to lead key finance functions and manage a small team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in line with IFRS and local requirements

Oversee and review daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts

Lead and support a small finance team, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met

Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform key reconciliations

Support internal and external audits

Drive compliance with internal controls and contribute to process improvements

Skills & Experience

CPA/CA qualified with a degree in Accounting or Finance

8+ years' financial accounting experience, including team supervision

Strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting

Proven experience with high volum, complex bank reconciliations and general ledger management

Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
