The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join the external sales team in Victoria. This role is suited to a motivated individual who can represent a sophisticated product portfolio within the architectural, design, and plumbing sectors, building long-term relationships and generating consistent project-based sales.
You will be responsible for managing a defined territory, maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients, and ensuring the brand continues to be front-of-mind in the minds of architects, designers, builders, developers, and merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans across your assigned territory
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients while identifying and converting new business opportunities
Work closely with architects, interior designers, specifiers, builders, and plumbing merchants to secure specification and supply
Provide expert product knowledge and technical support, ensuring solutions are tailored to client needs
Represent the brand at industry events, expos, and client presentations
Accurately report on pipeline activity, forecasts, and client feedback using CRM systems
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely project delivery and client satisfaction
Product Portfolio Includes:
Premium bathroom tapware, mixers, and accessories
Contemporary kitchen tapware and fixtures
Advanced shower systems
Designer collections finished in brushed gold, gunmetal, matte black, and more
Award-winning ranges recognised for both aesthetic and functional excellence
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in an external sales or business development role within the building products, plumbing, or architectural finishes industry
A strong network within the A&D or residential construction sector is highly advantageous
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers
A strategic thinker with a solutions-focused mindset and strong commercial acumen
Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a high-performance team culture
Full Australian working rights and a valid driver's licence are essential
On Offer
Base salary of $110k - $130k
Super at 12%
Fully Maintained Company Vehicle. Can discuss a car allowance
Strong commission structure
