Job Title: Practice Nurse – Onboarding (Psychiatrist Setting)

Location: Remote (Work from Home) – Sydney-based candidates preferred for occasional face-to-face meetings, if required

About Us
We specialise in veteran mental health and support, providing critical reporting services through a psychiatrist-led practice. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Practice Nurse to assist with patient onboarding and administrative tasks.

The Role
This is a contractor role focused on onboarding new patients in a psychiatrist setting. The work is highly administrative in nature and includes:

Conducting onboarding calls with patients

Taking basic clinical notes

Updating spreadsheets and internal systems

Communicating with internal admin and clinical teams

The work is very process-driven and repetitive, with much of the role involving back-to-back patient calls and routine documentation. It’s ideal for someone who is comfortable with consistency, monotony, and working independently from home.

Contract Details & Expectations

This is a contracted role, not a permanent employment position

You must have your own ABN to invoice for services

Hours can vary depending on seasonal demand, with some weeks busier than others and occasional quieter periods

That said, the position is intended to be ongoing, and we value consistency in the person fulfilling this role

Candidates based in Sydney are preferred, as there may be rare occasions where a face-to-face meeting is required

We estimate an average of 20–25 hours per week, and we’re flexible in how these are scheduled across the week to suit you.

Who We’re Looking For

Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)

Experience in veteran care or interest in mental health support is ideal but not essential

Comfortable with a highly structured, repetitive role

High attention to detail and excellent written communication skills

Confident working independently from home with a stable internet setup
