A fantastic opportunity for a driven and personable sales professional to represent a growing fencing and gate solutions company across Melbourne.
Omni Recruit is proud to partner with a well-established business in the construction and trade services sector to find a motivated Salesperson β On the Road (Fencing and Construction). This is a field-based role where you'll travel across Melbourne, generating new business, managing client relationships, and providing tailored fencing and gate solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Engagement
Identify and engage potential clients through site visits, cold calls, referrals, and events
Present tailored solutions that meet client needs
Prepare and follow up on accurate quotes and proposals
Account Management & Sales
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts
Negotiate pricing, timelines, and margin targets
Facilitate smooth handover to the project team post-sale
Reporting & Collaboration
Keep CRM and sales tracking systems up to date
Work closely with estimators, project managers, and administrative teams
Report weekly on sales activity and forecasts
Brand Representation
Represent the company professionally at all client sites and events
Collect customer feedback and suggest improvements to services
About You
Minimum 3 yearsβ experience in B2B field sales, ideally in construction, fencing, gates, or trade services
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Comfortable working independently on the road
Proficient with quoting tools and CRM systems
Valid driver's licence is essential
Highly Regarded:
Background in construction-related products such as fencing and gates
Experience in managing quoting and project handover processes
