About the role

Bakers Delight in Belconnen, ACT is seeking a Qualified or Apprentice Baker to join our team. This full-time role will see you contributing to the production of our high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced, hands-on bakery environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries and other bakery items to Bakers Delight's high standards
• Ensuring all food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed
• Monitoring ingredient quantities and replenishing stocks as needed
• Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the baking process
• Providing excellent customer service and upholding the Bakers Delight brand

What we're looking for

• Formal baking or pastry qualifications, or proven experience as a qualified baker
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality baked goods
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
