Brilliant Stars Early Learning Centre is a family owned boutique service with a maximum of 32 children per day, educating and caring for children aged between 2– 5 years of age, across 2 classrooms.

Located in Moncrieff Street, Dickson, we're only minutes’ walk from the bustling Dickson precinct and Daramalan College. Perfectly positioned within walking distance to the tramline as well as having free onsite parking.

Our centre is only 2 years old and has been purpose built for us. We hold the "52 Virtues" as the core value of our philosophy, our culture and curriculum. We deeply believe all children are unique human-beings and it takes a community to raise our precious little ones together with love and respect.

About the Role

As our little community is growing rapidly, we have opportunities for a likeminded and Locally Experienced Educator to join the team to continue creating our Brilliant Stars "family" together.

Our team currently consists of our Approved Provider, Bachelor qualified Director and Early Childhood Teacher, with a combined 50+ years in education.

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and passion for early childhood education you'll have/be:

An open mindset and be solution focused

Willing to continuously build upon your knowledge and actively collaborate on quality improvement practices across the service.

A working knowledge of, and a strong commitment to, the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework.

Diploma qualified educator with 5 years of experience in Australian children services

A team player who helps co-create a respectful, calm, caring and holistic learning environment for children

Hold full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

Proven experience (minimum 5 years essential) working with children and programming educational activities in an early childhood setting.

Current first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications.

Confident with great communication skills
