We are seeking an experienced and motivated APS 5 level Data Officer to support the NSW/ACT Regional Service Operations team located in Newcastle NSW.

About the Role
In this dynamic APS5 level role, you will support regional performance and service delivery through high-quality data insights and reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Extracting, cleaning, and analysing operational data to support performance insights.
• Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports using Excel, Salesforce, and SAS.
• Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through systematic research and analysis.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to develop tailored reporting solutions.
• Supporting the implementation of data quality assurance and improvement processes.
• Contributing to data-related projects and documentation.
• Providing technical advice to stakeholders on data and reporting matters.
• Enhancing analytics capabilities across the team through innovation and continuous improvement.

About You
You will thrive in this role if you:

• Are proficient in tools such as Excel, Salesforce, and SAS (or similar)
