The Role

We are seeking a Project Manager for our Civil & Transport Infrastructure Division. This role, based at our Head Office in North Parramatta, offers an immediate start. You will focus on project delivery for esteemed clients such as Sydney Trains, Transport for NSW, and Sydney Water, amongst others.

About You

Reside in Greater Sydney, NSW, or nearby and hold Australian working rights.

Capable of planning, resourcing, and managing complex projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Act as the face of Rapid, coordinating and mentoring Contract Administrators, Site Managers, and Foremen.

Customer-focused with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Experienced in transport infrastructure and adept at handling high-profile, challenging projects.

Proficient in ISO-based Quality, Work Health & Safety, and Environmental Management principles.

Remuneration

A competitive salary package to be negotiated between $170k-$190k, including superannuation, allowances and potential bonuses.

Negotiable based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 4-5 years in a Project Manager role with a background in trade, site management, or contract administration.

Proficiency in managing ISO9001-based Quality systems.

Experience with projects up to $10m.

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Relevant trade and tertiary qualifications are advantageous.

Familiarity with MS Office 365 and industry tools like Jobpac & Fieldview.

Other Details

Involvement in occasional night-time and/or weekend works for Sydney Trains.

Regular travel within Greater Sydney Metro, with some regional NSW travel also required.

A criminal history clearance and pre-engagement medical check are required.

Adherence to a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol and drugs in the workplace.
