Our client is an established Tier 3 builder, looking for a Project Manager to work on school health and community LAH projects. The company has a strong pipeline of projects in Sydney and NSW for the next few years and is looking for someone to grow with them. They work in the Commercial, Education, Health, and Industrial sectors. The company has a strong team culture and emphasises staff retention and a strong reputation amongst sub-contractors and vendors, and engineers. etc

The Role:

• Responsible for delivering a successful project/s, including pre-design, design, construction and completion stages of the project. financial observation, forecasting, and programming appropriately for the successful delivery of the projects/project are fundamental.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for all communication and stakeholder management.
• Taking a lead role in establishing, maintaining and ensuring compliance with Health Safety and Environmental systems
• Assembling and leading the project team to achieve the best possible performance from all members. Take responsibility for resources engaged in the projects and liaise with senior management to ensure projects are appropriately resourced.
• Managing any formal project deliverables
• Liaising with the construction manager, Site Managers, CA , Site engineers and contractors as required to satisfy system standards requirements.

The candidate:

• Demonstrated experience in a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager who has completed projects in the Education and/or other commercial exposure in excess of $20m is highly desirable.
• A strong ability to work as part of a diverse team
• A passion for construction with an eye for detail
• Proven experience completing multiple projects within the Australian market from start to finish.
• confident in your ability to oversee New build projects from $10M - $70M, but happy to also complete commercial refurbishment type projects where necessary.
