We’re seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner to join our Financial Control & Accounting Services team. If you’re passionate about IT finance, experienced in CAPEX and FinOps, and ready to partner with business leaders to drive commercial value — this is your next challenge. A 10 month contract with the potential to turn permanent or contract be extended.

The Opportunity Working closely with the Executive Manager – Financial Control & Accounting Services, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the financial performance of the IT division. You'll oversee the financial lifecycle of IT CAPEX projects, support FinOps operations, and engage with stakeholders across the business, including commercial finance teams, IT, and offshore support. This is a high-impact role that combines commercial acumen, operational finance, and stakeholder collaboration.

• Own and manage monthly financial results, analysis, and commentary for IT CAPEX projects
  
  
• Partner with senior IT and finance stakeholders to drive effective investment decisions
  
  
• Contribute to the development of financial dashboards and performance reporting tools
  
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
  
  
• Collaborate with the IT OPEX lead and support the offshore finance team
  
  
• Identify and implement process improvements across financial operations
  
  

What you need:

- CA/CPA qualified with a relevant degree
- 10–15 years’ experience in commercial or operational finance roles
- Proven background in IT CAPEX financial management
- Experience working in large, complex organisations
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; Oracle/ERP experience a plus
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A self-starter mindset with a keen eye for process improvement
- Telco or technology industry experience is desirable
