About the role

Reporting to the Production Manager and business owners, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Premier Concrete NSW as a Concrete Batcher. As a Concrete Batcher, you will play a crucial role in the production and delivery of high-quality concrete products to our customers across the Newcastle region. This is a full-time position based in our Newcastle facility.

Experience in similar roles is preferable but not critical. We can support you with on the job training and on-going development.

What you'll be doing

Operate concrete batching plant equipment to accurately produce concrete according to customer specifications

Schedule and maintain all concrete bookings

Coordinate drivers to ensure timely deliveries

Monitor and maintain raw material levels and replenishments

Maintain accurate production records and batch reports

Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns

Assist with the general upkeep and maintenance of the batching plant and related equipment

What we're looking for

(Preferable) Proven experience as a Concrete Batcher or similar role in the manufacturing/concrete industry

(Preferable) Strong understanding of concrete mix design and the ability to make adjustments to achieve the desired quality

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in record-keeping

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure to meet production targets

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
