We are looking for detail-oriented, quality-driven Batching Operators to join a family-owned and operated food production business based in Orange known for its handcrafted dips and soups. Full time hours: Monday to Friday - 8 hour shift - Day Shift

Location: Orange NSW, 2880

Pay rate: $35.15 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately complete all batch paperwork, including batch codes, use-by dates, and quality checks

Ensure traceability and compliance with food safety regulations

Verify the correct raw materials are selected and used

Monitor the quality of final product before release

Ensure equipment is operating as per specification

Report any equipment malfunctions or process deviations immediately

Identify and report any safety incidents or near misses

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of batching equipment and work areas

Address any non-conformance issues and escalate where necessary

Respond to day-to-day equipment or product-related issues

Escalate unresolved issues to the QA Technologist

Work with team members to optimise workflow and productivity during shifts

Support Quality Control tasks including pH testing, sensory evaluations, label checks, and microbial testing

Assist with environmental monitoring and calibration of equipment

What We Are Looking For:

Knowledge and experience within a food production environment

Understanding of GMP and HACCP principles (preferred)

Good communication skills

Basic computer skills (an understanding of Microsoft is required)

Attention to detail

Good time management skills
