Known for its supportive culture and stable operations. The company is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team on an initial 3 months contract with scope for permanency.

About your new role:
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the CFO, providing direct support across a range of financial and operational matters. It’s a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Some of the key tasks associated with this role include:

• Complete month end journals.
• Perform reconciliations of the Balance sheet and perform P&L Analysis
• Prepare the trial balance accounts.
• Compalte Bank Reconcilaitions
• Prepare BAS lodgements and FBT return
• Assist with the preparation of the statutory accounts
• Assist with Annual budget
• Oversee the Payroll process

About You:

• Have 5 years experience in a Financial accounting role.
• Has experience within a fast paced accounting environment.
• Can demonstrate sound system skills particularly with MS Excel and has previous exposure to a mid tier ERP systems.
• Interpersonally, you communicate in a professional and transparent style and present yourself in a corporate manner. You will see yourself as a true business partner and thrive in a stakeholder driven environment.
