The Company

Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team based in Northern Sydney region. We are looking for someone with hands on accounting experience who is available to start immediately.

The Role

• Month-end close, including journals for prepayments, accruals, and intercompany charges
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and open item reporting
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Post corporate cost allocations
• Provide backup to the Shared Services team and assist with ad hoc tasks
• Recommend improvements to finance processes

To be considered for the position

• Experience in a similar position
• Accounting qualification with strong grasp of accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable
