9-month temp Financial Accountant position with broad exposure to accounting and reporting

Pagewood area, salary: $50 - $60 per hour + super (equivalent to $90,000 - $105,000 per year + super)

The Company

Our client is a privately owned, family-run FMCG business with a proud history dating back to the 1950s. They specialise in the import and distribution of their premium products across Australia. With over 200 staff nationally and double-digit annual growth, they’ve built a reputation for quality, integrity, and a genuinely people-focused culture.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, supporting the business with:

Month-end close – handling journals, reconciliations and trial balance

Cashflow forecasting & FX management

BAS preparation across multiple entities

Fixed asset register maintenance

AP back support

Ad hoc tasks as required by the finance team

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Accountant you will meet majority of the following:

Solid experience in month-end processes

Cashflow forecasting (Highly desirable, not a must have)

Immediately Available

Strong excel skills – experience using vlookups and pivot tables

Experience with a mid-sized ERP

Ideally have exposure to FX (again, not a must have)
