About the role

Progressive Disability Support is seeking a passionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Tweed Heads, NSW. This is a casual role that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised care and support to a client including assisting with daily living activities, community participation

Promoting independence, choice, and control for clients through a person-centred approach

Facilitating meaningful social and recreational activities to enhance the overall wellbeing of clients

Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure high-quality service

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in the disability support sector, with a strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Ability to work autonomously with complex behaviour clients

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients

A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's licence
