About the role

Senator Constructions is seeking experienced Tradesman Carpenters to join our team in Prestons, NSW. As a full-time Carpenter, you will be responsible for the fixouts in our residential construction projects, playing a key role in the successful delivery of quality homes.

What you'll be doing

Undertake finish carpentry duties such as installing, fitting and fixing doors, architraves, skirting boards, lock hardware and other fixtures

Perform on-site construction activities including framing, install of Firedoors and fire rated hardware,

Work closely with the construction team to ensure all carpentry tasks are completed to a high standard

Interpret plans, drawings and specifications to carry out work accurately and efficiently

Assist in the supervision and mentoring of Apprentice Carpenters

What we're looking for

Qualified certificate III in Carpentry Tradesman with experience in a similar role and also Apprentice carpenters undertaking Certificate III in Carpentry

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy and precision

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A commitment to safety and a demonstrated track record of following safety procedures
