East Coast Apprenticeships is a long-standing Group Training Organisation (GTO) employing apprentices and trainees across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay. For over 35 years, we’ve supported more than 10,000 people to start their trade careers, working alongside schools, training providers and industry.

With a renewed focus on strengthening the GTO model and creating clearer training pathways for young people, we’re looking for a committed and focused Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) to join our Brisbane Metro team and help us keep up with demand.

What you’ll need to bring
If you're passionate about education, youth engagement and promoting vocational pathways, this role gives you the platform to connect with schools, students, parents and community organisations.

You’ll deliver engaging presentations, attend school and community events, and build strong relationships with local stakeholders — all with the goal of encouraging more young people to explore apprenticeships and traineeships as a meaningful career path.

This is a mobile role with travel throughout the Brisbane Metro region region (based out of our Head Office at Strathpine) – with the possibility of occasionally needing to travel to other group sites.

What you’ll be doing

Delivering school presentations and career information sessions

Engaging with students, parents, teachers and career advisors

Attending school expos, open days and community events

Promoting East Coast Apprenticeships and vocational education pathways

Building and maintaining strong local partnerships with schools and organisations

Supporting candidate attraction and building a pipeline of future apprentices and trainees

What we’re looking for

Strong public speaking and youth engagement skills

Confident, friendly and professional communicator

A passion for education, employment or vocational training

Well-organised, self-motivated and adaptable to different audiences

Current QLD Driver Licence and Blue Card essential
