Van Damme Group are seeking a motivated individual to fill the key role of payroll and accounts receivable officer.

Payroll Officer - This varied role is responsible for the end-to-end processing of the weekly Company payroll, including superannuation, leave accruals and Award interpretation as required, weekly and monthly management reporting including reconciliation of payroll related general ledger accounts, Year End Reporting including payment summaries and audit support. You will also maintain employee records and employment files.

Accounts Receivable Officer - As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining accurate financial records. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and resolving client queries.

Key Responsibilities:

Entering invoices into the accounts receivable system.

Checking that all data provided is true and correct.

Maintain a high level of communication with clients.

Allocate correct Projects for reporting.

Work with the site administrative team, supervisors, and management for data collection.

Performing other ad hoc tasks as required by your manager.

Informing Upper Management of end of month (EOM) completion of reporting.

Checking the data supplied is correct by cross referencing rosters / timesheets etc.

Entering of employee leave forms and sending approval emails.

Checking the allocation of allowances

Entering and checking deductions like Child Support & reimbursements.

Ensuring employees accrue the correct amount on superannuation and leave entitlements

Minimum of 2-year experience within the bookkeeping industry, Certificate or Diploma in Business or Bookkeeping preferred but not mandatory.
