The Role

They are seeking a forward-thinking Data Engineer to step into a hands-on technical role focused on the design, development, and optimisation of data engineering pipelines. You'll be responsible for building robust integrations between systems, delivering high-quality data platforms, and enabling data-driven decision-making at scale.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lean team, enjoys a high degree of autonomy, and is passionate about continuous improvement and business enablement through data.
Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable ETL pipelines and integrations across enterprise systems.
• Develop executive-level dashboards and reports for strategic decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity and optimise data flows for performance and reliability.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to translate needs into solutions.
• Lead initiatives to improve automation, data architecture, and reporting processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data engineering or integration roles.
• Strong skills in database development, data modelling, and querying.
• Experience with ETL, system integration, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with tools like Boomi or Mulesoft is a plus.
• Self-starter with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset.
