Midwest Fabrication require a trade qualified fitter & turner to join our team. The suitable person will not only have proven industry experience in a production machine shop but will be mechanically minded and capable of displaying skills of innovative responsibility. Ideally you will have been in a similar environment and have sound experience in the operation of Fanuc and/or Fagor controlled CNC lathes and turning centres. You will be confident with your ability to initiate corrective action and engineering change requests along with reading and interpreting engineered drawings. You will also be comfortable training and mentoring new staff and apprentices.

Duties include

CNC Programming & CNC machining, manual milling, turning

Troubleshooting machining, tooling and production challenges

Vertical machine centre experience will be beneficial
