Galloping Gumnut Mobile Children’s Service is seeking a qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Educator to join our team as a part-time employee.

The successful applicant will ensure they have respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Essential Criteria:

· A current Working with Children Check clearance

· A recognised Children’s Education and Care qualification – Diploma in Children’s Services

· A minimum of 2 years experience working in an Education and Care setting

· A current First Aid Certificate in Education and Care

· A sound understanding of the Education and Care National Regulations and the National Quality Framework

· Experience with program, planning and implementing the principles and practices outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework

· Ability to work as an effective team member

· Effective written and verbal communication skills

Duties:

· Assist with programming, planning and implementing a holistic curriculum for children aged 0-5

· Managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social and emotional development

· Supervising children's daily routines

· Modelling and supervising the hygiene of children

· Supervising children during recreational activities

Successful applicants will be reference checked and screened as required by the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 (NSW).
