Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily child care routines including meals, play, rest, and transitions.

Support educators in delivering age-appropriate learning experiences inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Help create and maintain environments where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Contribute to the organisation of special events, fun incursions, and celebrations.

Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and build positive relationships with families.

Be a positive role model, demonstrating kindness, patience, and respect in all interactions.

What You’ll Need

A charismatic, energetic personality and a natural love for working with children.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check and First Aid Certification (if not already held).

A commitment to learning and completing your Child Care Traineeship qualification with QCE’s guidance and support.
