Feel Good Events is a Ferntree Gully based party, wedding, and event planning and decorating company. We specialize in creating fun, stylish, and memorable experiences for private celebrations, corporate events, and weddings. From concept to pack down, we handle it all, bringing our clients’ events to life using our huge hire range, creative styling ideas, and our signature “Feel Good Formula.”
The Role
We’re looking for a Full Time Partyologist / Event Planner for a hybrid role combining event planning, client management, and hands on decorating. You’ll work with both private and corporate clients to design and deliver events from start to finish, ensuring every detail is on point and every guest has a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with clients (phone, email, and face to face) to plan and style their events.
Understand client goals and create tailored decorating plans and mood boards.
Use our extensive hire range to create new styling ideas that deliver the “wow” factor.
Coordinate venue logistics, suppliers, and internal crew to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Manage multiple events at once, keeping timelines, budgets, and styling details on track.
Oversee onsite setup and pack down to ensure quality and consistency with the agreed design.
Troubleshoot issues during planning and installation to deliver stress free events for clients.
Handle all related event administration and supplier bookings.
Follow safety procedures to ensure events are set up and run safely.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in event, party, or wedding planning is essential.
Creative + Organized: Strong styling skills balanced with solid project management ability.
Client Focused: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and suppliers at all levels.
Hands On: Physically fit and willing to assist with event setups (including lifting and moving equipment).
Tech Skills: Comfortable using Canva (or similar), Google Workspace for planning documents.
Professionalism: Well presented and confident working with high end clients.
Problem Solver: Able to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changes.
Driver’s Licence: Required for attending venues and events.
Hours & Conditions
Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm based at our Ferntree Gully office.
Early starts, late finishes, and weekend work may be required depending on event schedules.
Onsite training provided at events.
Must be a permanent Australian resident to apply.
