About the role

We are seeking a passionate Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessment and treatment to children and adolescents aged 0–18 years with moderate to severe mental health challenges. Based in the community setting, you will be part of a team working closely with families, schools, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. The team also offers specialist consultation to the Emergency Department, Paediatric Unit, inpatient wards, and Mental Health Inpatient Unit of the hospital when necessary.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, your role will include providing expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and management of young patients; working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team committed to client-centred care; contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives and offering consultation and liaison services across hospital and community settings.
