JOIN A FULLY REMOTE TELE-PSYCHIATRIST PRACTICE

Telepsychiatrist is an established telehealth Psychiatry and Psychology practice operating nationally for 2+ years. Due to ongoing growth and increasing demand, we are seeking additional psychiatrists to work as part of our team. Work as an independent contractor with full administrative and practice management support on an 80/20 billing split. This role suits a psychiatrist seeking flexibility, reliable referrals and a strong ADHD caseload alongside broader complex presentations.

This starts from the moment they contact our admin team, to the assessment with a psychologist, to diagnosis with a psychiatrist and managing their ongoing treatment. This is a big problem and we want to be able to solve it. That is our mission.

​​​Multidisciplinary Support. Psychologists provide Neuropsych Assessments and seamless internal referrals for comprehensive care.

​​Grow Your ADHD Expertise (and manage case complexity). Primary ADHD clinic with diverse comorbid referrals (ASD, bipolar, TRD, disability, etc.).

ABOUT US

We are an ADHD focussed clinic with steady referrals for autism spectrum conditions, disability, bipolar disorder, and treatment-resistant depression. You’re supported by an experienced practice manager, a dedicated admin team, and psychologists who deliver neuropsychological assessments with seamless internal referrals. Our secure telehealth platform and established GP network—backed by ongoing in-house referral campaigns—keep patient demand consistent.

We currently have 3 Psychiatrists working in the clinic, together with 2 psychologists.

ABOUT YOU

You will either be a psychiatrist working publicly and looking for this flexible telehealth opportunity as a way of dipping your toe in the water of Private Practice Psychiatry. Or you will be a Psychiatrist already working in private practice psychiatry, looking to supplement your work with telehealth private psychiatry work.

WHY TELE-PSYCHIATRIST

We charge premium fees for our service ($900/ hour) and have chosen to specialise in ADHD assessments. This means that we have gotten really good at what we do and have streamlined our procedures to optimise for this service.

You will gain maximum flexibility in your work and can really choose the hours that you would like to work. Ideally, we are looking for someone to work 1 or 2 days per week.

Reduce your medico-legal risk. We carefully screen our patients and make sure that you are seeing the right-fit patient. Before most appointments, you will also have a copy of a comprehensive psychological report, which will give you confidence in making diagnoses and medication decisions. The other benefit of these reports is that they will flag other co-morbid conditions such as trauma, drug seeking, personality disorders, other psychiatric conditions, depression, anxiety etc. Along with ADHD report, our psychologists can also provide full psychological assessments for more complex presentations.

Support from other Psychiatrists working in the clinic. We have 3 other senior psychiatrists working within Telepsychiatrist. There is an opportunity for informal support (i.e., group chat, informal meetings) and formal support (structured supervision and PD)
