About the role

This permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a large, well-regarded metropolitan hospital in Sydney’s south east region. The role will see you providing assessment and treatment services to adult mental health consumers and offering consultation services to other hospital units and healthcare providers when required.

The hospital provides a dynamic teaching environment and hosts a comprehensive Mental Health Service. Due to this, the position also carries a significant educational component, with opportunities to contribute to the teaching and supervision of Psychiatry Trainees.

The successful applicant will be working in a setting that promotes innovation, collaboration and clinical excellence. This is a health service with a strong focus on providing opportunities for professional growth within a supportive and caring team culture.
