You're a capable engineer who thrives on solving problems, not just keeping systems running, but continuously improving how they’re managed and maintained.

Over the last few years, you've worked across both on-prem and cloud environments, supporting infrastructure, resolving BAU incidents, and handling break-fix challenges. You've also started building experience with automation and cloud tooling and you’re keen to do more in that space.

In this role, you’ll work as part of a collaborative Infrastructure team, contributing to the design, support, and evolution of a hybrid environment spanning Windows Servers and Azure cloud. There’s a solid foundation in place and your input will help strengthen and modernise it.

The work is a mix: BAU, technical support, and involvement in infrastructure-focused projects, from automation improvements to Azure governance, cost optimisation, and DevOps practices. You’ll also help manage backup and recovery strategies, identity systems, and Microsoft 365 administration.

It’s a role that blends stability with progression, where your ideas will be heard, and your technical input valued across a nationally significant organisation.

Expect a practical and balanced working environment: 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday + 1 flex), 2 days from home, and free parking at the Macquarie Park office.

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Azure cloud environments

• Confidence supporting enterprise hybrid infrastructure setups

• Exposure to Azure DevOps and automation tools (e.g. Terraform) and a proactive approach to improvements

• Working knowledge of security best practices and governance principles

• Experience across Microsoft 365, identity management, and modern workplace tools
