About the role

Wastewater service technician- Hstp servicing, QBCC restricted plumbing license- service and maintain on-site sewage is Mandatory minimum.

Growing small business servicing Jimboomba and surroundings areas.

Flexible work life balance, currently casual position with the opportunity to become full time. Vehicle and phone supplied (picked up and dropped off daily initially). Office located Parkridge south.

You will be required to complete all set jobs for the day using service mate scheduling app, filling reports onsite, making adjustments and performing routine maintenance on aerated Hstp and ossf but not limited to. You will be required to talk to home owners, Tennant’s and relevant persons so good communication and presentation are essential.

Must have QBCC Restricted plumbing license- service and maintain on-site sewage facility, car license-manual preferred. Must be able to work independently.

What you'll be doing

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems, including septic tanks, pumps, and associated equipment

Diagnose and repair any issues or malfunctions in the wastewater treatment systems

Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on the optimal operation and maintenance of their wastewater systems

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

Maintain detailed records of all service activities and report any issues or concerns to the management team

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications or certifications in wastewater treatment

Minimum 1 year experience as a Wastewater Service Technician or in a similar role

Strong technical skills and knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, including septic tanks, pumps, and associated equipment

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Commitment to safety and quality standards

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
