LOCATION: Osborne Park, Perth, Western Australia
TENURE: Temporary (full time) appointment commencing ASAP until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of a further temporary appointment and/or permanency.

Job Description
The Senior Information Analyst has a key role in the Department’s obligations under the national partnership agreements in reporting Western Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) enrolment statistics.
The Senior Information Analyst participates in many of the Performance Evaluation and Statistics branch’s operations. These operations include the provision of publications, business intelligence, statistical reports and advice; data collection, validation and enhancement; maintenance of reference tables; operational functions such as software development and database management for the Western Australian VET enrolment statistical collection and the compilation and submission of Western Australian data collections to national authorities.
To be successful in this role you will need to be versatile in sharing assignments in a busy team environment. You will be comfortable consulting with clients and working in SQL on a large corporate database system to produce VET sector statistical and written reports. You will have excellent all-round communication skills.

New employees will be required to obtain a criminal convictions screening clearance by providing a current National Police Certificate prior to their appointment.
