The Orrong Hotel in Armadale is a popular ‘Locals’ pub that focuses on great food, great service and great conversation. The venue features a contemporary menu along with all your pub classics in a comfortable setting. We have a great selection of beer & spirits, with a short, concise wine list featuring amazing local and international labels. We are looking for our next "Hospo Star" to join our dedicated team.

We're looking for people with a genuine passion for hospitality. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality experience to our loyal clientele. Whether it's remembering their favourite wine, how they have their steak cooked or even just engaging in some friendly banter. We offer a community first environment for all of our patrons, and we want people to join us who embrace that philosophy.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities -

An ability to manage a large section of up to 30 guests.

Be able to carry 3 plates, pour a beer and open a bottle of wine.

An understanding of keg & cool room maintenance.

A sound knowledge of food & wine, including an understanding of basic allergy and dietary needs.

Be able to work autonomously and with a steady, calm demeanour.

A willingness to embrace our "locals", and get to know them.

We want people who bring a team first attitude and a willingness to learn and further their skillset. Must be flexible with rostering, including weekends and public holidays where applicable.
