Employment Type: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $35-$36 per hour

We're looking for practical, reliable individuals to take on a frontline role in fruit fly control. This hands-on position involves trap setting, property inspections, treatment application, and community engagement - all as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

What You'll Need:

• Experience working outdoors or in horticulture (e.g., fruit picking)
• A current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)
• Full Australian work rights
• A valid full driver's licence (ability to tow trailers using a 4WD essential)
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Availability to complete a paid 3-hour induction
• Interest in ongoing or long-term work opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect properties and produce for signs of fruit fly activity
• Collect field samples and assist with laboratory submissions
• Accurately record inspection results and submit reports
• Communicate with growers and local residents to promote pest control awareness
• Support pest management operations and respond to infestation data
• Assist in the safe and effective application of control measures
