Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and compassionate In-Office Support Worker (Day Program Assistant) to join our Day Program team. This role involves hands-on support during daily workshops, participant engagement, and general assistance in program coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in setting up, facilitating, and packing down day program workshops.

· Actively engage with participants to encourage involvement, learning, and enjoyment.

· Provide basic administrative and office support related to day program activities.

· Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.

· Offer individualised support to participants as needed during the sessions.

· Promote independence and social interaction among participants.

· Ensure a clean and organised workspace throughout the day.

· Follow all safeguarding, safety, and reporting protocols.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in disability support, community services, or similar (preferred but not required).

· A positive attitude and high energy – must be lively, friendly, and engaging.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Understanding of the NDIS and person-centered support (preferred).

· Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

· Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
