The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join the Property team of a leading national law firm in their Melbourne office. This permanent, full-time role will see you working across a variety of property matters, including off-the-plan developments, commercial transactions, and residential conveyancing.

You will be part of a dynamic and professional team that values collaboration, commercial acumen, and a client-focused approach.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and managing conveyancing files from start to finish
• Drafting contracts for sale and vendor’s statements
• Liaising with clients, agents, and other solicitors/conveyancers
• Preparing settlement figures, including statement of adjustments
• Managing settlements, including bulk off-the-plan
• Drafting correspondence and general file administration
• Supporting Partners and senior lawyers on complex transactions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal in a commercial property team
• A sound understanding of the property transaction process, including off-the-plan sales
• Knowledge of regulatory issues relating to foreign investment and off-the-plan contracts
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency with legal software and document management systems
• Experience with electronic billing and time recording
