This is an exciting role for a charismatic, energetic, creative go-getter who is passionate about the drinks industry. As the Agave Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for delivering brand education and knowledge, fostering advocacy, and delivering brand activations across a premium agave portfolio in Australia.

As the Agave Brand Ambassador, you will be tasked with supporting our client Pernod Ricard Australia, delivering brand education and knowledge, fostering advocacy, and delivering brand activations across a premium agave portfolio in Australia.

The Role:

· Be the face of three award-winning agave brands and a product expert across the portfolio

· Drive education and superior brand and category knowledge

· Lead programs that drive long-term brand advocacy and training within the industry

· Source new opportunities and achieve commercial targets across your portfolio

· Assist in the preparation, development and implementation of brand activations and experiences.

The Brands:

· Altos – Voted best tequila for Margaritas and Palomas four years in a row (Drinks International Brand Report Tequila 2024/2023/2022/2021).

· Código – 2019 Tequila Producer of the year, using 100% Blue Weber Agave and unique artisanal production methods (Bartender Spirits Awards 2019).

· Del Maguey – is the most awarded Mezcal portfolio in the world (Tequila & Mezcal Masters, International Wine & Spirits Competition).

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Location:

· Based in Sydney

· Able to travel interstate in Australia and internationally (if required)

Qualifications:

· Tertiary qualifications, ideally in business, marketing or similar

· 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, marketing or commercial roles

· Holds a valid RSA, driver’s licence, passport and working rights in Australia.

Interpersonal:

· Excellent communication and brand storytelling skills

· Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and create genuine connections

· Agile and confident to sell across the portfolio from luxury to premium brands

· Flexible and strong project management skills, including openness to working across multiple brands at once and working irregular hours

· Self-motivated, well organised - can handle competing priorities and meet demands

Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality

· Event management and activation experience

· Social media & content creation experience.

Skills:

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Proven project management skills

· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Desirable:

· Existing network within hospitality or liquor retail

· Existing category and/or brand knowledge

· Premium cocktail experience

· Passionate about spirits, mixology and lifestyle marketing

· Active on social media platforms.
