Love what you do - and make a real difference doing it.

We’re seeking 2 x compassionate and client-focused Remedial Massage Therapists to join our team at Healthy Connections Exercise Clinic. These permanent part-time positions offer a guaranteed minimum of 28 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as demand grows. If you're driven to make a genuine difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.

Healthy Connections, a proud part of the non-profit organisation Burnie Brae, is dedicated to supporting people to live well, stay active, and feel their best at every stage of life. Based in Chermside, we provide evidence-based, multidisciplinary allied health services to the North Brisbane community. Our experienced team offers exercise physiology, physiotherapy, and remedial massage, delivered both in our clinic and in the comfort of clients’ homes.

About the Role

This isn’t just any massage therapy job - it’s a chance to support healthy ageing and improve quality of life every day.

You’ll work closely with a multi-disciplinary allied health team (including Physios, EPs, Podiatrists and more) to deliver high-quality remedial massage services. You'll split your time between our welcoming clinic space and visiting clients in their homes or local aged care facilities.

You’ll be trusted to:

  • · Conduct thorough client assessments to determine functional capacity, strengths, and lifestyle goals, and use this information to develop holistic, individualised treatment plans.
  • · Deliver flexible, client-centred remedial massage therapy primarily within the Healthy Connections Clinic and clients’ homes, and occasionally in residential aged care facilities as required.
  • · Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current massage therapy techniques and health practices, ensuring all services comply with relevant legislation, professional codes of conduct and ethics, and are supported by the latest evidence.
  • · Monitor and review treatment plans regularly to evaluate progress, ensuring client goals are met and outcomes support improved quality of life and healthy ageing.
  • Experience working with older people and/or people with a disability (highly regarded)

You’re a great fit if you’re friendly, self-motivated, and ready to bring calm, capable energy to each appointment - whether in the clinic or out in the community.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • A Diploma of Remedial Massage
  • Current membership with a recognised professional association
  • A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a clinical or community setting
  • A naturally empathetic, friendly, and client-focused approach
  • Experience supporting older adults and/or people with disability (highly regarded)
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
  • A valid Driver’s Licence (essential), with the ability to travel between clinic, home, and residential care settings
