We have a wonderful Practice Manager who handles all the phone enquiries, bookings, chasing up med certs, service agreements, cancellations and re-bookings, follow ups, billing, accounts payable, and all the curly miscellaneous in between. Spend your time on billable work, not on the tasks that detract from you actually being able to do the OT-ing.

About us

Driving Well Occupational Therapy is a dynamic growing business in Brisbane, focused on working with people with medical conditions and disabilities impacting on driving, vehicle access and community transport.

Our caseload is diverse, with referrals for self-funded clients, WorkCover and workers compensation insurance clients, NIISQ, iCare and TAC, and of course NDIS. We service an exciting and interesting breadth of conditions and disabilities such as spinal cord injury, stroke, ABI, amputations, CP, MS, CMT, ASD, intellectual impairment, dementia, and even physical congenital disabilities (such as being born with no arms or crush injury to cervical spine resulting in fused neck – with no neck movement!) – to name a few. These are our “why factor” clients and we love being able to work with these clients.

We are passionate about working out the best solution for our clients – whether this be self-drive from wheelchair, to travelling as a passenger as a wheelchair occupant, to driving with driving controls (hand controls / left foot accelerator), to learning to drive with supports, to a local / restricted licence, to retiring from driving.

We need an OT driver assessor in the Brisbane North area.

About you

You have at least two years experience working as an OT in adult physical/neurological setting, and are a trained OT driver assessor.

You think that vehicle mods to allow a person to drive or to get into a vehicle are super cool!

You can provide services in the Brisbane North area.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Driver Assessor in the Brisbane North area to join our team on a permanent part-time to full-time basis, with ACTUAL flexible work arrangements. Will suit school hours. (6 month probation period applies).
