Key Account Manager - Industrial Refrigeration | Melbourne

With a strong reputation for technical expertise and service excellence, they support sectors such as food processing, cold storage, logistics, and manufacturing etc. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a driven Key Account Manager to join their Melbourne-based team.
Your new role
This is a client-facing position ideal for either an experienced account manager or a senior refrigeration technician ready to step into a leadership role. You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end service delivery for key clients - from quoting and site inspections to contractor coordination and invoicing. Working closely with the internal service team, you'll ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and growing key client relationships across Victoria.
- Conducting site visits and preparing accurate service quotes.
- Coordinating contractors and internal teams to deliver timely solutions.
- Overseeing job progress, invoicing, and service reporting.
- Identifying opportunities for account growth and service improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in account management or a senior-level technical background in industrial refrigeration.
- Commercial acumen and confidence in quoting and invoicing.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Trade qualifications in refrigeration (highly regarded but not essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
