About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Office Administrator to join our team at C & F PLASTERING SERVICE PTY LTD in Mount Waverley, VIC. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our plastering business. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, while also handling various administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and subcontractor costs

Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to ensure accurate estimation

Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to refine estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities

Maintain and update the company's cost database and estimating tools

Provide administrative support, such as handling customer inquiries, processing invoices, and maintaining records

Assist with other general office duties as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years of experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately estimate project costs

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office suite

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders

Proven administrative and organisational skills
