About the Role

As the Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams both locally and overseas, contributing to month-end reporting, forecasting, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports for ANZ entities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with local tax and statutory reporting obligations (BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, etc.)
• Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Partner with internal stakeholders to streamline financial processes and controls

Your Skills & Experience

• CA/CPA qualified, or near completion.
• 2+ years' experience in financial accounting, preferably within a medium to large business
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
