About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Financial & Management Accountant to join our collaborative team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll play a key role across day-to-day finance operations, accounts payable and receivable, internal spend support, and management reporting.

This role is ideal for an accountant with 2–3 years of relevant experience and who may be looking to grow their career over time in a finance role.

Key Responsibilities

This role is wide ranging covering core finance processes but also supporting the operational functions at Vera Living. The key responsibilities include the following:

Procure-to-Pay & Transactional Finance

Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including purchase order management, invoice approvals, and supplier payments

Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts and ensure timely reconciliations

Support procurement processes by collaborating with operational teams to manage spend effectively

Accounts Receivable & Revenue

Monitor accounts receivable, prepare customer invoices, and follow up outstanding balances

Assist with reconciliations between revenue systems and the general ledger

Provide timely and professional communication with customers regarding billing and payments

Manage payments requests/claims with the NDIA and escalate where needed

Management Reporting & Business Support

Prepare/support monthly management reports and dashboards, highlighting key spend and revenue trends

Support budgeting and forecasting processes across operational teams

Contribute to financial analysis to inform decision-making and improve cost efficiency

Financial Operations & Systems

Process month-end journals and maintain accurate general ledger records

Assist with process improvements across procurement, payables, and receivables

Support integration and reporting workflows with Salesforce (preferred)

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2–3 years of experience in an accounting role covering transactional finance and reporting

Proficiency with Xero preferred; Salesforce experience highly regarded

Strong Excel skills with the ability to produce clear reports and insights

Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and follow-through

A proactive, collaborative mindset with confidence to engage internal stakeholders

Working towards CPA/CA qualification (or completed)
