An exciting opportunity to contribute to a portfolio of major infrastructure studies and projects with a global green energy leader. We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Civil Designer to support the planning and design of large-scale mining and energy-related civil infrastructure.
You'll join a collaborative and values-driven team delivering key design solutions across multi-billion-dollar programs, with exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle-from early study phases through to execution.

Your Responsibilities
Deliver accurate and integrated civil design models focused on earthworks and road design, for both mining and energy applications
Support civil engineering teams with high-quality technical drawings and documentation
Coordinate closely with engineers and stakeholders across project scopes and disciplines
Ensure designs meet relevant Australian or international standards
Assist in the development of geospatial data, maps, and models for design and approvals
Participate in project meetings and present design options as needed
Candidate Profile
5-8 years of experience in a Civil Designer role across mining, energy, or major infrastructure
Diploma of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred
Proficiency in 12d Modelling and Microstation essential; ability to create macros highly regarded
Strong spatial data management skills, including experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS, Global Mapper)
Proven experience producing technical civil layouts and detailed documentation
Collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Flexible and adaptable to fast-paced project demands and evolving scopes
Rates & Contract
Hourly rate approx. $72 - $80/hr + super (negotiable depending on experience)
Initial 12-month contract with strong prospects for extension or transition to permanent
Monday to Friday roster, with flexibility to support evolving project stages
