About the position

The role of Project Manager is to; Schedule installation works (Order parts, schedule technicians and other resources). You will be required to communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects, to ensure installations are being done in a safe manner, while trouble shooting any issues that might arise during the installation process, as well as training other technicians in safety and installations.

This role is in place to support the installation teams with system commissioning, while working cohesively with all the stakeholders.

KPIs

Manage high level of installation quality in system installations and system commissioning.

Reduce repeat visits due to installation/ system commissioning defects.

Work with installations teams to achieve departmental goals

Managing Safety and striving for improvements.

The Key Duties and Responsibilities are:

Schedule installation works meeting project deadlines

Support installation teams with system commissioning and any advance troubleshooting

Stay updated with the latest security technologies and recommend system upgrades or expansions to enhance effectiveness.

Maintain and improve project cashflow and work towards monthly departmental targets, which includes performing accurate cost-to-complete in the ERP (forecast), cost savings etc.

Maintain detailed records of security system installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improvements.

Report any issues, risks to the installations supervisor and follow-up

Comply with EH&S policies and procedures of the company

Conduct risk assessments, JSEA and maintain records.

Conduct monthly vehicle inspections, ladder inspections, Test and Tag and attend toolbox talks (monthly)Inform any risks, issues to project managers

Update sales team with any sales opportunities.

About You:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience to be successful:

Experience in installation and commissioning of electronics security system including access control, CCTV, intruder alarm systems. Interpretation of building plans,

Previous experience in training junior staff and holding toolbox talks.

Strong Communication Skills and open minded to learning

Experience in managing projects
