The role

As a Legal Assistant, you will support a Partner and his Team in the Insurance Litigation team (WorkCover). Duties include:

• preparation of list of documents, drafting correspondence
• liaising with clients,
• actioning instructions from authors
• following up authors to make sure work is done for the Partner
• proofreading and formatting of all correspondence and legal documents,
• screening calls, diary management, file management,
• monthly billings (occasionally), making travel arrangements
• organising client conferences and meetings, scheduling conferences/mediation's,
• preparation of Medicare forms and conference forms,
• organising medico legal appointments,
• brief preparation, trial preparation,
• Disclosure of documents and general admin duties.

You

You will have a minimum of 4 years legal assistant experience. Some experience in Litigation and/or Insurance is also essential.

The Law Firm / Salary

Boutique mid tier Brisbane CBD law firm of 40 staff. Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience (between $80,000 - $95,000 + Superannuation + performance bonus). Offer 2 days a week WFH after probation.
