About the Role
In this role, you will not only serve as the first point of contact for customers but also provide crucial administrative support to internal teams. Your ability to multitask and communicate effectively will be key to ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
o Entering and processing data into the database and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
o Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal staff regarding product and contractor availability
o Provide support to the sales team and general office duties
o Liaise with and provide support to all business departments as and when required
o Maintain detailed and current knowledge of the Company’s products and services in order to read and understand plans
About you
o Strong knowledge of accounting functions
o Strong knowledge of financial and job management ERP systems
o Basic knowledge of the building products industry
o Skills/abilities:
o Strong communication, problem-solving and people skills
o Strong customer service skills including relationship building and conflict management
o Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
o Adequate skill in reading and understanding building plans
o Strong ability to work well under pressure
o Strong ability to multi-task and work independently
Required Qualifications:
o Minimum Senior school certificate or equivalent
o Minimum of three years experience in a similar role
o Proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
Other Requirements:
o Self-motivated
o Personal focus is on delivering excellent customer service
o Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
o Undertake additional duties as required during periods of leave of other staff
o Follow WHS policies, procedures, and directions
