About the role

Brisbane Dental Anaesthetics Centre is seeking experienced Dental Assistants to join our team at our Chermside, Queensland facility. There are multiple roles available including part time and casual. You will be working alongside visiting Surgeons, Dentists and Anaesthetists.

What you'll be doing

Assisting during complex procedures, such as extractions and implant placements

Preparing and sterilising equipment, as well as maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Ensuring all infection control protocols are followed to the highest standards

Communicating effectively with patients to provide a positive and reassuring experience

Maintaining detailed patient records and assisting with administrative tasks as needed

What we're looking for

Experienced dental assistant with specialised expertise in assisting with surgical procedures

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation

Instrument sterilisation experience and knowledge

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a tight-knit team, as well as independently when required

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team

Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care

Adaptability and the ability to work calmly under pressure
