Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Dental Assistant to support our dental team in delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with dental procedures, sterilization, and using dental software (exact preferred but not essential).

Experienced Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during procedures (restorative, surgical, preventive).

Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines.

Process digital dental radiographs (x-rays)

Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures to patients as necessary.

Maintain accurate patient records.

Provide post-procedure care instructions and assist in follow-up care.

Assist with training and mentoring junior dental assistants and ensuring compliance with protocols and policies

Qualifications:

Certificate lll or IV in dental assisting

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.

Proficient in dental software and computer skills (exact preferred but not required).

Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude toward patients.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment with excellent attention to detail.

Demonstrate exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities

We are seeking an ideal candidate who is available to work 2–3 days per week, with flexibility to cover sick and annual leave, and the potential for increased hours over time.

Our clinic opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
