The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a self motivated individual to be involved in commercial, industrial and domestic removal works, including Education and Health sites. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Coordinator, you will be briefed daily on works to be undertaken.

Seeking organised and motivated Class A supervisors to join and lead our site teams. The candidate must have experience and is confident in managing asbestos labourers, sometimes over multiple projects mainly within the Adelaide metropolitan area, but at times in regional South Australia.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Ability to self manage and oversee projects from start to finish
• Time management of projects, driving compliance and strict adherence to the Code of Practice and “Best Practice Approach”
• Be the liaison between the client and on site working teams
• Manage and oversee the preparation of relevant documentation, tools and equipment required for each job
• Drive a quality product delivery and outcome for our clients
• Willing to work after hours and on weekends when required, where penalty rates will apply
• Experience in minor demolition work
• Good verbal and communication skills with an ability to follow directions
• Ensure asbestos removal procedures are followed by all personnel
• Ensure that all documents required are maintained and available for auditing purposes
• Liaise with SafeWork SA and other authorities on an adhoc basis

Skills/Experience required include:

• Experience with Class A asbestos removal
• Experience in working within and understanding current WHS legislation
• Current drivers license (MR license an advantage)
• A + B Class asbestos VET course qualifications
• Understanding of SafeWork SA requirements
